This groundbreaking achievement marks the creation of the country’s first manufacturer with specialized production capabilities in this sector, under the operation and control of the military.
Our collaboration began in late 2022 when we initiated contact with engineers from the Bangladesh military enterprise. Initial discussions revealed their plan to establish a brake lining factory for producing specific models. Then the project gained full momentum throughout 2023. Following detailed technical exchanges, a pivotal step occurred in early 2024. A delegation of senior military representatives visited our factory for an on-site inspection. During this visit, they thoroughly observed the entire manufacturing process for brake linings and brake shoes, which enabled both parties to confirm the precise equipment required for their production line. This visit solidified the foundation for the subsequent partnership.
First factory visit in 2023
After an extensive two-year period involving multiple on-site factory visits, rigorous evaluations, and a competitive bidding process, the military enterprise selected Armstrong as its trusted partner. This decision underscores their confidence in our expertise and comprehensive solutions.
Armstrong delivered a complete turnkey project, meticulously tailored to the client’s specific production model requirements. Our scope encompassed the entire production chain—from the steel backing process to the final packaging line. Furthermore, we supplied all essential auxiliary components including specialized molds, raw materials, adhesives, and powder coatings, ensuring a seamless and fully integrated production system.
In early 2025, a four-member delegation from the Bangladesh military enterprise was dispatched to conduct a thorough on-site inspection of all equipment and materials. Hosted by the Armstrong team, the military engineers meticulously examined the operational performance and physical condition of each piece of machinery. Following this comprehensive review, the delegation formally signed the **Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) Criterion Report**, confirming that all items met the agreed specifications and were approved for shipment.

This advanced production line is engineered to manufacture three core product categories: back plate, brake pads, and brake shoes. In December 2025, a dedicated team of Armstrong engineers conducted the final commissioning and handover at the client’s facility, successfully passing all acceptance protocols. This milestone not only signifies the client’s readiness for mass production of high-quality, certified products but also represents a significant step forward for the entire Armstrong team.
